What is Riverbend Lodge?
I have the luxury of being a full time member of Riverbend and to me it has some of the
finest Whitetail Hunting in the south, if not the best. I have hunted all over the U.S.
and I have seen some of the largest bucks our country has to offer and a few of those are
in Riverbend. [ No , I am not going to show anyone. ] The lodging is 1st class as well
as the food and guides. From thick pine to monster hardwoods to river bottoms , we have it
all. I do not have the record for seeing the most deer in one sitting because most hunters
would not believe us anyway, but in one afternoon last season I watched 11 deer in my food
plot. 7 of these deer were racked bucks and one of them was a drop tine 10 point. He is no
longer with us as my trusty lever action went off and he came back to the lodge with me.
We have huge food plots and ladder stands scattered throughout our woods that sometimes leave you wondering where you are going to hunt. It is common for members of Riverbend to stand around the map when picking stands and change their minds over and over because they cannot make up their minds where to hunt. This is because we all talk to each other and know that big bucks are not ghosts , they are all over our woods.

Riverbend is one of my favorite places to hunt. We spend a week around thanksgiving almost every year. My wife and son love going as much as I do. There are plenty of deer on the property which helps to keep kids and novice hunters attention but there are also plenty of big boys. We took three shooter bucks last year in three days and my wife had a chance at a 4th during that same three day stretch. People are great here. I have hunted here for 5 years and I look forward to another 5 in the future.

I hunted at Riverbend Lodge for the first time last year. Everyone I met was so friendly.
I can't say enough about the hospitality. I was well taken care of by the staff along with
My friends and customers I had with me. The food is excellent and I never went to bed hungry.
The lodge accommodations are great. There is plenty of room for storing guns and equipment
Along with covered stalls to park my RTV or ATV. As far as the hunting goes this is a top notch place.
I saw deer every time I got in the woods and at many different locations. I would highly recommend
Riverbend Hunting Lodge. Can't wait to go back.

Riverbend Hunting Lodge is 4500 acres of Heaven. God himself has reached down
and touched this land. Forget the fact that the wildlife is the most plentiful I
have ever seen; it is the most most beautiful property that can be found in the
South. Words can't describe the wonder. Once you have seen Riverbend, you

I have hunted in almost every county in Alabama, & I can say without a doubt
that Riverbend has the best Buck-Doe ratio I have ever ran across. It is almost
hard to believe. I have hunted in so many places where you would have to sit in
your stand & have to wait until right before dark just to get to see any
deer,much less mature bucks. But here & Riverbend it's nothing to have deer in
the fields pretty much all day.
Riverbend has anything & everything a deer or turkey hunter could want......
VERY large food plots... Thick pines.... HUGE hardwoods & of course the river
bottoms.
The lodge to us members is our home away from home. Mitchell, Joey & their
family take care of everyone like we are all family. I can guarantee you will
never forget your experience here !!
